Erin Powell lives in the weka stronghold of Nelson, New Zealand. After the birth of her first child, she joined a writer's group for 'adult interaction.' But there was no escape. The thoughts and experiences of children followed her everywhere. her background in public health joined forces with her new experiences as an early-childhood educator and she was inspired to write. Erin hopes her stories instil resilience, confidence and a sense of belonging among those who read them. Polly Rabbits is an illustrator living in the beautiful South Island city of Nelson. Her business is called Pawprints Illustration and Design, specialising in both illustration and graphic design. Polly has a variety of styles and methods up her sleeve, including medical and industrial illstration and is published in many children's books.
