Space-mad Jax has just moved to a new city and is finding it difficult to get settled. Her Mum is so busy struggling to open her dream-business, a yummy new café that she doesnât seem to have realized that Jax feels lonely, and is desperately missing her dad, who died four years ago. But when a pink lightning bolt delivers a sparkly kitten to Jaxâs door, everything changes! Jaxâs magical moon cat, Moonbeans, seems to bring Jax luck wherever she goes. Soon, Jax is making new friends at school, while a series of happy coincidences means her Mumâs dream of opening the café looks like it might actually come true. Is it all down to Moonbeans, or do Jax and her mum have a special kind of magic of their own?
